Who we are
Terpsis is a collaboration of individuals living and working in various aspects of gastronomy and hospitality in the region of Pelion and Volos. People, who share the same passion and vision, offer guests visiting the area the opportunity to see, feel and experience the gastronomy the way that locals do.
Meet the team
Agriculturist/Chef/Forager
Konstantinos grew up in Argalasti, Pelion and has always been actively involved in the cultivation and production of wine and olive oil of the family business. After completing his studies at the Univercity of Patras, he decided to pursue some of his great loves, cooking and pastry. He eagerly studied at the South African Chefs Academy in Cape Town, South Africa and then worked in well-known kitchens in Greece and abroad.
After returning home, he got involved in the family business once more. The need within to further enhance his knowledge and his love for nature and the land was never eclipsed and the same urge pushed him to study Agriculture. As a result, he acquired a deep understanding of the mechanisms that govern the functioning of nature and natural ecosystems while devoting a large part of his time to foraging and the practice of local gastronomy.
Combining both his experiences and knowledge enabled him to fruition his own perspective of local gastronomy to visitors. His ability to continuously dream served him brilliantly.
The intersection of his gastronomic concerns with Angeliki Vogdanou, Experience Planner & Hospitality Consultant, resulted in them envisioning, planning and organizing together a unique experience based on the Gastronomy and Nature of Pelion. Thus, "Terpsis Gastronomy Experiences" was created.
Guest Experience Planner
Angeliki has been following her passion for the last 10 years working in Tourism as an accommodation Business Coach and also as a Travel Advisor. Day after day she feels even more confident that this is not yet another job, but more of a gift which offers to visitors memories and feelings.
With work experience in all areas of Tourism (hospitality, catering, activities) and without ever stopping learning and training, she created in collaboration with the rest of the team an unforgettable experience that will connect the special needs of the guests with the uniqueness of the locality. The greater purpose is for all of us to become one with Greece, its culture and life.
By becoming familiar with Thessaly and especially Mount Pelion and Volos, a beautiful city laid out at the foothills of the mountain, allowed her a deeper understanding of its authentic gastronomy, its quiet traditional villages, its hidden in the green unspoiled beaches and its wild forests of chestnut and beech trees.
The Hostess
The youngest and most zealous part of the team comes from Pelion, which she knows well yet still discovers with every given opportunity. She decided to get involved with the tourism industry when she was 18 years old.
Some perks of the industry allowed her to meet new people and gain new experiences awash with opportunities to develop her career and continuously evolve while she devoted herself to something she loves.
Graduating as a tourist technician for hospitality units and businesses in 2020, and in possession of the necessary knowledge with an endless appetite for work, she worked in Corfu in the restaurant sector and then in the bar and restaurant scene of hotels in Pelion until today.
Simalarly, she spends some of her free time learning foreign languages so that she may boost her communication skills and broaden her mind.
She has an outgoing, full of patience and overall pleasant personality; eager to work, while always paying attention to detail. She would love to continue working in the tourism industry and never stop learning and discovering new experiences and ideas.
